The Principal

History

The Academy was started in 2003 as a spiritual boot camp to prepare people in their various areas of professional calling. These professional areas of calling include Religion, Business, Family, the Arts, Sports, Education and Government. The Academy achieves this through training and equipping its students towards becoming suitable ministers for God in these areas.

When the school started it attracted people already affiliated with the Joshua Generation. Presently, most of the enrolling students come largely from other local assemblies in Nairobi and other parts of the world. The course content is upgraded annually to keep it relevant to the present truth. The school program runs for one and half years earning students a Diploma in Kingdom-Christian Ministry. Plans are in motion to introduce advanced courses to pave way for degree programs in the respective areas of professional calling.

This is a call to intimacy between the believer and his /her Lord. It is the walk of the believer with God, from which emanates the grace and ability to work for God.

This a call to reflect the character and glory of God. It is a demonstration and the reflection of the divine attributes of God in and through the believer.

This is the call on the believer to influence his environments and people groups with the Kingdom of God. It is where the believer is sent to impact the world with the standards of the Kingdom of God.

Mr. David Paul Mavia

He is a Socio - Cultural Analyst and founder of The Kairos - Centre for Content Development. He is a graduate of Moi University.

The faculty comprises of lecturers already deeply familiar with Kingdom Academy from its

inception. Starting with the creation of the curriculum to actual

facilitation and lecturing of the courses, they are the first partakers

of the Academy. Familiarization with the entire course content enables

wholistic approach when teaching. Most of them attest to the fact that it is most satisfying when the Holy

Spirit is present to back the lecturing. Every lecturer has the responsibility of upgrading every course they teach to encourage

relevance and a consistent spirit of learning. This faculty has seasoned

individuals primarily engaged in their areas of calling and are

capable of imparting the necessary flavor of Christ in every class they

are assigned to teach.

Mrs. Dolly Odhiambo Mrs. Susan Kibuga

She is the Central Administration Manager at the Joshua Generation and a graduate of the Kingdom Academy. She teaches with a Pastoral heart on purpose, potential and inheritance in God’s Kingdom.

She is the Outreaches Manager at the Joshua Generation, a graduate of both the Kingdom Academy and Kenyatta University (Business Studies). She is also a seasoned teacher of the Word.

A seasoned career developer, highly trained and experienced in strategic planning and consultancy in fields of business and education. She is a graduate of Daystar University.

An ordained minister, he has taught in various schools of ministry , churches and conferences, a seasoned teacher on issues regarding the Kingdom of God.

He teaches with Apostolic foresight and wisdom on relevant subjects of God and man. He is an ordained minister and a graduate of Nairobi University.

After the successful completion and satisfaction of the school requirements, the students are then commissioned into their various areas of calling, ready to fulfill that which the Lord has imparted in them. This is done at a colorful graduation ceremony.

The institution then awards a Diploma in Kingdom/Christian Ministries to all successful students.

The Graduation ceremony is uniquely indigenous and is creatively reflected in the regalia and emblems the students are given.




The GownThis is a Priestly gown made with African material that serves as a physical reminder of the fact that they are Priests. The color varies for every graduating class.

The Sceptre/RunguThis is an African Emblem that serves as a constant reminder that the student is a King unto God. To rule in righteousness and to establish the Kingdom of God in their world of calling.

The HornThis is a physical reminder of their status as principalities unto God to reconcile their world and to establish the Kingdom of God.

As I prepared to join the Kingdom Academy, I was not sure what to expect. I only knew one thing-I had a deep desire to know more of God and that was my motivation. Kingdom Academy was a life-changing experience. Having gone through the classes, the practical assignments and projects, I found that my ideologies, philosophies, and priorities were questioned and challenged. Kingdom Academy equipped me with a lot of information and was very readily applicable.

My business decisions are now based on the knowledge of God's will for me . It is no longer the lucrative nature of the deal that acts as a determining factor but God's will and timing. To any one wishing to join the academy, I have the following to say - Kingdom Academy is in every way worth it, but there is a price to pay.

I joined Kingdom Academy at a time when I was experiencing emptiness in my life not knowing how to fill the void. I desired God and searched for answers. I wanted to know my purpose and direction in this life. Then Kingdom Academy happened. My experience at the Academy brought light to my life.
