Kites Nest HouseOriginally built in 1927 and then extended in 2006 by the present owners, Kites Nest House is a handsome and imposing detached, unlisted period house, built principally of local Greensand stone with mullion windows under a tiled roof. The house stands in an elevated position with wonderful and far-reaching views across the village towards the Blackmore Vale. Directions (Postcode SP8 5AZ)Travel south west on the A303 as far as Mere and then take the second exit after the town, signed to Mere and Gillingham. At the bottom of the slip road turn right onto the B3092, pass under the A303 and take the first turning left, signed to Zeals. Travel for 1¾
