Kito World Strongest Link Chains:The link chain which is the principal element of the Kito Chain Sling 100 is super strong. The world's strongest chain, having an ultimate strength of more than 1000MPa (100kgf/mm2) was developed by Kito's long experience and accumulated technology.Fittings used with the Kito Chain Sling 100 have an ultimate strength equivalent to the chain links and are made from specially selected al-loy steel: forged and hardened to Kito's rigid specifications and quality control.Combined use of super strong the Kito Link Chain and fittings assures the highest degree of safety in use, and the light weight also assures exceptional ease of handling.
The KITO CHAIN SLING 100 Features a Wide Rangeof Chain Slings to Choose From:Standard link chains of the Kito Chain Sling 100 are available from chain diameter of 5.0 mm to 20 mm enabling the lifting of heavy and large sized objects.To provide the right sIing for any lifting, the Kito Chain SIing 100 systems incorporates two types of fittings. -CIevis Type with exclusive retaining pin -Eye Type with Hicoupling

The KITO CHAIN SLING 100 For Special ApplicationsThe Kito Chain Sling 100 has high resistance to rust from rain, sea-water, steam, and high ambient temperature. Rust-resistive Kito Chain Sling employing ND Chain is available up to ø12.5. Consult the distributor if the Chain Sling is used under special atmosphere such as acid, alkali, etc.The Chain Slings for special applications are designed and manufactured to meet various working conditions. Should you have a requirement for a special fitting, consult the distributor.

Super Strong KITO LINK CHAINS:The Kito Link Chain is made from selected special alloy steel. lt is formed to a link and welded automatically by fully automated equipment, then quenched and tempered by special automatic-controlled heat treatment equipment. Every chain link thus manufactured goes through a tensile strength test that assures an ultimate strength of more than 1000MPa (100kgf/mm2). Kito's super chain manufacturing know-how and techniques have produced the world's strongest chains.
Elongation and Bending:The Kito Link Chain combines both strength and ductility. To maintain this toughness in each link, Kito employs the highest grade of chain making techniques from material selection to heat treatment. This is proven by the fact that the Kito Link Chain`s total elongation at rupture is more than 15%. ln a bending test, the Kito Link Chain has sufficient absorption to pre-vent cracking and bending as shown by the photograph.
Wear Resistance:ln the manufacture of the Chain Links, special consideration is paid to building in better wear resistance. The wear between two adjoining links of the Kito Chain is extremely small owing to Kito's exclusive heat treatment and technology; therefore, the Kito Link Chain lasts lon-ger and is economical.
1. Daily and Periodical CheckSimple visual appearance inspection and physical checks for de-formation, scratches, wear, elongation, and so forth. will assure you safe operation.
2. Stocking of Spare Parts for Emergency RepairKITO recommends to stock replacement parts or spare chain slings for fast and optimum repair of chain slings. Never use fittings taken from other slings or smaller capacity slings even for a temporary use.
3. Keeping of Record of Chain SlingsKITO recommends to keep historical records of each chain sling and to assign a specific chain sling safety controller.
4. The Grab HookThe Grab Hook has a narrow jaw to accept a link of chain. However, the chain held by the grab hook under tension is not ideally supported in a straight line due to its shape and design. The chain slings com-plete with grab hooks must be de-rated by 30% at least. The grab hook should not be used for sling shortening purposes.
Tensile Strength TestAs one of our various tests, the Kito Link Chains are given tensile strength test for higher breaking strength and greater toughness of elongation for their good service.
Safe and efficient work begins with correct care and maintenance. Spend a little time before and after each use to check the slings. Such proper care and maintenance will assure you safety and long service life.

Guide for Safer and Longer Use of the KITO SLINGS
Do select right capacity slings including angles of sling leg.Do ensure that the chain slings are not kinked and twisted.Do minimize shock loads to the chain slings, as shock loads may develop significant overload. Also do avoid impact loading or landing.Do lift uniformly the load in the multi-leg slings.Do protect the chain slings from sharp edges of an object by inserting protective pads between the chain and the object.Do have the chain slings inspected by an authorized person.

Do not expose the chain slings to excessive heat, as working load limit is affected by the heat higher than the temperature in the table.Do not drag the chain slings on the ground.Do not heat the chain slings.Do not use slngs when damaged (i.e. worn, corroded, bent, stretched).
