WORLD ASTHMA DAY

World Asthma Day which was on 5th May was celebrated by the Department of Paediatrics, under the guidance of Dr. Sujata Kanhere, Professor and Head of Unit, on 19th May 2015. A drawing competition was organised for the patients attending the Paediatric Asthma Clinic at KJ Somaiya Hospital, which is run every Tuesday by Dr. Swati Gupta, Assistant Prof in Pediatrics. All the children enthusiastically participated and were constantly encouraged by Dr. Sujata Kanhere, Dr. Priyashree Mukherjee, Dr. Neha Mehta and the resident doctors. Dr. Geeta Niyogi (Dean, KJSMC) was the Chief Guest and judge and gave away prizes to the winners. The occasion was also graced by the presence of Ms. Padma Jakkani (Hospital Administrator, KJSH).
