• The city is a rainbow reflected in the costumes of men and women.
• On this day we can enjoy folklore and typical food on the streets of Murcia.
THE FLOWERS PARADE
• Celebrated on Easter Wednesday.
• The parade consists of artistic floats decorated with real flowers
THE BURIAL OF THE SARDINE
• Celebrated on the Saturday following the Holy Week.
• The floats handout little toys and represent the Olimpus Gods.
• It is over 150 years old, and means the ending of The Spring Festivitties.
• After the parade we can see the show of the sardine’s burial on the old bridge, and fireworks displays.

Folklore Festival
• For three days 14 national and international folklore groups show their dances on the streets, squares and stages of Murcia.
Moors y Christians
• “Kábilas” and “mesnadas”, The troops of the Christian king and The king of Moors, Alfonso X and Aben Hud, enter the city.
The Procesion
• The Virgen of the Fuensanta, fondly called “La Morenica” (the dark virgen) has been the Patron Saint of Murciasince the 17th c.
• During 5 or 6 hours the pilgrimers carry the Patron up to her sanctuary, 11 kms far from the city center . They stop 6 times to cheer her.
