Dr. Rumesh Kumar is a:
DBA in Knowledge Management Certified Knowledge Manager; Certified Project Management Professional (PMP); Certified Agile Coach.
Dr Rumesh is an Approved Knowledge Management Instructor of the Knowledge Management
Institute USA. His doctoral dissertation that he completed in 2004 was in Knowledge Management.
He completed his Certified Knowledge Manager course in 2005.
Since then he has undertaken numerous projects in Knowledge Management in many
organizations in Malaysia. He has also developed numerous training programs to cater for
individuals with different levels of expertise in Knowledge Management.
He has drafted a number of Knowledge Management Frameworks to cater for a wide range of
Industries. Dr Rumesh has written extensively and contributed towards the continued
development of Knowledge Management theory via peer reviewed published articles in journals
such as the Malaysian Management Review and the International Journal of Information and
Knowledge Management He has presented his ideas on Contemporary Management in many
international conferences held in Malaysia as well as overseas.
Dr Rumesh is very conversant with matters relating to effective knowledge sharing among key
stakeholders and has done so with many reputable clients such as Bank Negara Malaysia,
PETRONAS, KWSP, PLUS, Mattel, Telekom Malaysia.
He has a wealth of expertise in other complementary areas, such as stakeholder engagement and
strategic planning, as well as agile project management that could be very useful in terms of
developing and delivering the Strategic Knowledge Management Framework.
