    Arm violence occurred in 58 of the districts, but severely affects many of the Terai-Madhes districts.It has recorded 55% (369) of the total 670 were recorded in the 20 districts ofTeraiand only 45% (301) cases were identified in districts of Hill and Mountain.Morang-119; Surkhet-73, Banke -37, Bara-27, Dhanusa-26, Kathmandu-21111 persons were killed in Terai-Madhes and 81 were killed in Hill and Mountain

    SAplW Surveillance system established in 2008. Able to record all the incidents caused by SAplW and mine

    afction in Nepal.

    Contributing to establish Nepal Working groups on SAplW.

    End of war does not guarantee the establishment or returnof security in the affected areas.

    The peace agreement may have signed, and the hostilitiesmay have ceased but the remnants of war and illicit use of

    SAplWs are an enduring legacy of the conflict. Nepal Government has not been controlled, as

    required, the illicit use of SAplW by the Secessionist armedgroups especially in Terai-Belt.
