SAplW Surveillance system established in 2008. Able to record all the incidents caused by SAplW and mine
afction in Nepal.
Contributing to establish Nepal Working groups on SAplW.
End of war does not guarantee the establishment or returnof security in the affected areas.
The peace agreement may have signed, and the hostilitiesmay have ceased but the remnants of war and illicit use of
SAplWs are an enduring legacy of the conflict. Nepal Government has not been controlled, as
required, the illicit use of SAplW by the Secessionist armedgroups especially in Terai-Belt.
