Dear Parents/Carers
Unfortunately, Year 4 pupils were not so fortunate with the weather during their overnight stay at Consall for their Wilderness Academy residential visit. The word ‘wilderness’ was particularly apt as the children had a lot of mud to contend with, however they will have made some lifelong memories.
Next week, we are looking forward to our only full week in this incredibly short half-term. It is a very important week for our Year 6 pupils who will be taking their Key Stage 2 SATs and I wish them the very best. I know that they have worked incredibly hard in preparation for these tests, but I would like to reiterate that these tests don’t tell us how kind, thoughtful and considerate they are. The qualities we look for in our Willows’ pupils cannot be measured in this quantifiable manner, and I would therefore like to add that I am exceptionally proud of our pupils for who they are, how they conduct themselves and how they represent our school.

Tips to Try: From the Eco Guys
Please save old and unused batteries in the recycling container in school.
Did you know that in less than 2 hours the UK produces enough waste to fill the
Albert Hall?
Vacancy
We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant in the school kitchen.
If you are interested applications must be done through Stoke-on-Trent City Council and search ‘Catering Assistant’. As this is a general add you must specify that you are interested in The
Willows Primary School.
