Currently one in five (22%) employers would not recruit someone with less than five GCSE’sLearning Skills Council
Research shows employers will pay an extra £3,261 per year to new staff with 5 A*- C GCSEs compared to someone
with no qualifications Learning Skills Council
Because by 2020….
…there will be 3 million fewer lower skilled jobs in the UK
... there will be a 50% increase in the number of
jobs which need high level skills.
