    Our need for Good Samaritans continues to groweach day. If you are looking for an opportunity to join acommunity of individuals dedicated to providing qualitymental health care to people of all faiths and economicbackgrounds, call us today.     Krist Samaritan Center holds a volunteer orientation everythird Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at our main office inClear Lake.     A gift of $65 may be appliedto sponsor one counselingsession for a family in need.(Please consider a series of counseling

    sessions.)

    A gift of $100may go toward

    scholarships for CongregationalCare training.

    A gift of $250 may be used tounderwrite psychological oreducational testing for a childfrom a low-income family.

    A gift of $500 may bedesignated to purchase newcomputers and software for

    technology upgrades, such aselectronic medical records,which will allow therapists tospend more time with theirclients and less time withpaperwork.

    For many young professionals diagnosed with AutismSpectrum Disorders (ASD), entering the workforce can be atricky and unsettling situation. Oftentimes, these individuals feellike strangers amongst their peers due to the social impairmentsthat result from ASD. At MindWorks Testing, our team of staffpsychologists and counselors can help give you the tools you needto navigate social waters in the workplace.     VOLUNTEERSPOTLIGHT:FOR KIDS SAKESEMINAR HELPERMonitors are needed to oversee children andteens in the child and family waiting roomduring For Kids Sake seminars, which areheld every third Tuesday of the month from6 -10 p.m. Volunteers should be comfortableinteracting with children and teens,and will need to protect client confidentialityand privacy.

    Our annual gala, A Samaritan Celebration, celebrates the lifemade by giving. Funds raised will supplement the CounselingAssistance Fund.
