    On behalf of KWRCC, Beth Davis, KWRCC Outreach Coordinator will be accepting the proclamation dedicating April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

    On behalf of the Kodiak Child Advocacy Center, Joanna McFarlin, KCAC Director, will be accepting the proclamation dedicating April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.

    Show support this month by wearing teal colored ribbons or teal nail color and/or blue ribbons and/or blue nail color. All members of the community are invited to attend the Borough Assembly Meeting located in the Assembly Chambers in the Borough Building scheduled for 6:30pm. The meeting agenda can be accessed HERE.

    In the United States April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The goal of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and to educate communities on how to prevent it.
