    a concept that involves reality within the possible. a naturalistic take on project base.

    in detail:performative action upon rough silk results in traces to witness later in time, in signs that rest as if to prove its story :

    change in texture, colour, shape and condition due to long durational physical engage-ment with natural surroundings

    bourette de soie, the roughest of all silks, is the means that is incorporated in given landscapes. the interplay is a procedure consisting of the combination of performative activity and contact with natural environment, resulting directly into creations whose history is traceable.

    over the year 2o1o the actions have grown to a body of residues from different corners of the world. the cloth has travelled to israel,to the south of france, to russia and to great britain enhancing communal possibility to return with fragments of shared and lasting reality.

    in this short intro-duction l honneur de timur leads you through its own history. each step and each journey stem from the desire to be engaged with surroundings on a conscious level. time and physical ef-fort have resulted in states of meditationexposing ones mind and body to be grasping the now.

    l honneur de timur is an answer. a concept for lifetime to become valid, traceable and resulting.

    l honneur de tmuroperates on two levels: the act and the representational

    one off events, so far held in paris, berlin and london, show-case these procedures and their final outcomes. insights are provided by creating representational installations to be ac-cessed with all senses.

    the efforts transmissions - as in documents, as of the making- are being shared through video pieces featuring aspects of the journey that brought the transformation upon the cloth. these moving images in real time duration aim at delivering visual aspects of truth.the viewer plunges into the cloths history and includingly in to our past.

    10 tshirts attached to strings floating in the dead seafor one night and one day

    the cloth was wrapped in meat gathered at the whole-sale market in the early morning hours and thrown to the dogs to make use of these findings.the result is ripped and torn apart pieces of textilewith some remainings of the meat.the shirts were hung into moscows s city airto dry under the summers sun.

    the procedures are featured with 2 videos showing the dogs engagements as well as aspects of the preparation.furthermore an interview with the russian dog activist veronika borash is presented on a loop, allowing her untranslated words to fill the room.

    interactive live performance at the london act event in collaboration with painter arunas survila dancing_fighting against_with immense hanging wet painted canvas that was being pulled on strings by the audi-ence from all sides to the beat they made and decided upon

    at the day long happening -the cloths journeys to be featured from effort with time. landscape and mouvement. its senses to be transmissioned for you to re experience. circles of sound and spaces of contextualisation. bourette du soie breathing life for you to see. this programme of refill features impressions and outcomes in form of video, installations and soundscapes.

    the space has been divided in 3 parts for each procedure to be featured in its own right

    the basement layed out with oriental tiles had the acoustic characteristic of a mikveh (jewish hammam)videos screened on the dripping walls along with recorded music of hebrew poetry by the collaborator mimi meren-gue .the residues of the textile filled the room with its salty smell.

    upstairs les chiens sauvage in a loop while posters shed light on the general impressions of the times in moscow . the bloody cloths were strapped in the middle of the room, hanging low and marking a transition from entrance to

    for this event the experimental group blue in the face has used samples of the videos from the moscow times to influence their work- a live soundscape was being created during this happening.

    this first showcase of l honneur de timur took place in paris 2010, all day long, and was concluded with an afterpartyin the suburbs

  • a projection showed the textile in the waves moving to the sound of the sea:

    outdoors the blue in the face has arranged themselves with a second longdurational sound exploration in a garden facing the water. they were playing a set among shirts hanging and vid-eos being screened. the visitors settled on wooden benches to listen to their story from places re-imagined off site.

    berlin on site, second showcase in an industrial club setting by the spree in berlin.

    in its darkness the israel pieces were assembled hanging from a con-struct off the ceiling while on stairs leading nowhere stones and other elements from the journey were arranged next to the glooming insight of the desert scene.

  • third event and interactive performance at silvex house E2, londonl honneur de timur in collaboration with arunas survila

    in a big ancient opening hall a canvas was hanging from the ceiling. on this sculptural set up of leaking industrial paint the strings were attached. the loose ends have been given to the audience, as well as oriental drumming instrumentsgiving away control tresulted in the enchancement of interactivity. energy exploded. pulling the strings created heavy wavings of the canvas. the performer, anastasia freygang, danced and fought against and with the canvas wearing the silk.consequently the colourings on the textile became the immediate results of the given time and situation, initiated by l honneur de timur yet accomplished by its guests.

    due to this very live creation on site the layout of review has broken down and became accessible, witnessable and participative.
