Merci, located in the heart of the historic Parisian district of Haut-Marais, is a magical place where people can shop for the best of fashion and design while enjoying Parisian hospitality in one of the store’s cosy catering facilities. To say thanks to all their creative talents, Merci offers a platform for young designers, and to say thanks to life itself, part of the company’s profits go to an endowment fund to finance education and development projects in Madagascar. And with that, their final ‘merci’ goes to all their customers who make this project possible.

Today, there’s nothing that we love more than to conjure a multitude of tapas and small dishes and share them with family and friends. In answer to this new way of life and to meet these new needs, Merci has created a whole range of dishes, inspired by the famous ‘American Modern Dinnerware’ by Russel Wright and by the

traditional Japanese ‘bento’. The collection is made of sandstone and maple wood, in four different colours, and designed as a puzzle of twelve elements that can be stacked or fitted together at wish. The rest is up to you!

While stainless steel is highly resistant to stain and corrosion, even the finest alloys will suffer if corrosive food chemicals are not removed by proper soaking, washing, rinsing and drying procedures. 1. Remove all food remnants immediately after use. 2. Presoak in a plastic or stainless steel pan using a nonabrasive presoak compound. 3. Wash in hot waterwith a nonabrasive, noncorrosive cleaning agent. 4. Rinse in water of at least 180°. A wetting agent or water softener may be required If using water of high mineral content. 5. Dry immediately.
