Plast-0-Matic Valves Inc. had introduced a line of fail-safe actu- ated ball valves constructed of Corzan CPVC for use in applica- tions that require elevated tem- peratures and corrosion resistance. The all-Corzan ball valves are designed for on/off service; the actuator will close the valve auto- matically in the event of a power failure. In applications where the valve should not close, such as water-cooled processes, the actua- tor can be modified to open the valve automatically during a power loss. A manual override is also available. The valves are avail- able in %-in. through 2-in. sizes with a variety of connection types.
