Recommendations

1. Invest in the Plan of Action of Panama, especially with seed funds for the initiatives and for follow-up of Engineering for the Americas (EftA) projects

2. Encourage the national and regional engineering program accreditation agencies to sign ALAI and Washington accords for hemispheric and global mutual recognition.

3. Support initiative led by the Deans of Haiti to establish engineering programs that support disaster recovery

4. Fund fellowships (such as the U.S. Jeffersonian and AAAS Fellowships) and Centers to provide expertise and support to the Ministers Vision 2025 and to the Engineering for the Americas initiatives
