Heavenly LaceKnit Wristers

Each wrister measures 8 long and 8 around hand.
RED HEART Stardust: 1 ball 1701 Pink.
Double Pointed Knitting Needles: One set of four
2.75mm [US 2]
Yarn needle, stitch holder, 2 stitch markers.
GAUGE: 24 sts = 4; 36 rounds = 4 in rib patterns.
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtai
the gauge.
Special Stitches
M1 = Make 1 (Increase) Lift strand between needles
to left-hand needle and knit strand through the back loop
twisting it to prevent a hole.
ssk = slip next two stitches knitwise to right needle, inser
point of left needle through front of sts, knit these sts
together through back loop.
Pattern Stitches
2x3 Rib (multiple of 5 sts; worked in rounds)
Round 1: *P1, k3, p1; repeat from * around.
Repeat Round 1 for 2x3 Rib.
Lace Rib (multiple of 5 sts, worked in rounds)
Round 1: *P1, k2tog, yo, k1, p1; repeat from * around.
Round 2: *P1, k3, p1; repeat from * around.
Round 3: *P1, k1, yo, ssk, p1; repeat from * around.
Round 4: *P1, k3, p1; repeat from * around.
Repeat Rounds 14 for Lace Rib.
RIGHT WRISTER
Cast on 50 sts. Place marker for beginning of round. Wo
in rounds.
Beginning with a purl round, work in Garter st worked inrounds (purl 1 round, knit 1 round) for 4 rounds.
Begin Rib Pattern
Next Round: Beginning with Round 1 of patterns, work
Lace Rib over rst 25 sts, place marker (to separate
patterns), work 2x3 Rib over last 25 sts.
Continue in patterns as established, working Lace Rib
over rst 25 sts and 2x3 Rib over last 25 sts of each roun
and slipping markers as you come to them, until piece
measures 3 from beginning.
Shape Thumb Gusset
Round 1: Continue in Lace Rib to rst marker, slip marke
M1, place marker, work in 2x3 Rib to end of round51 s
Round 2: Continue in Lace Rib to rst marker, slip marke
p1, slip marker, work in 2x3 Rib to end of round.
Round 3: Continue in Lace Rib to rst marker, slip
marker, M1, k1, M1, slip marker, work in 2x3 Rib to end o
round53 sts.

Round 22: Continue in Lace Rib over rst 25 sts, work 2x3
Rib over last 25 sts.
Repeat last round until piece measures 8 from beginning
Beginning with a purl round, work in Garter st worked in
rounds for 4 rounds. Bind off.
Thumb
Return 19 thumb sts to needle, pick up and k1 st from
edge of hand20 sts for thumb.Work in 2x3 Rib as established for 10 rounds.
Bind off.
LEFT WRISTER
Cast on 50 sts. Place marker for beginning of round. Wo
in rounds.
Beginning with a purl round, work in Garter st worked in
rounds for 4 rounds.
Begin Rib Pattern
Next Round: Beginning with Round 1 of patterns, work
2x3 Rib over rst 25 sts, place marker (to separate
patterns), work Lace Rib over last 25 sts.Continue in patterns as established, working 2x3 Rib ove
rst 25 sts and Lace Rib over last 25 sts of each round
and slipping markers as you come to them, until piece
measures 3 from beginning.
Complete left wrister in same manner as right wrister,
working 2x3 Rib over the rst 25 sts and Lace Rib over th
last 25 sts.
FINISHING
