Swim Lesson Registration Information & Tips

It is very common for swimmers to repeat levels. Keep in mind, they are still learning and gaining valuable practice time.

Most group lessons have a maximum enrollment of 6 students per instructor. The Sea Puffer level has a maximum enrollment of 4 students. The Sea Horse level enrollment varies, please call for details.

Please do not register for a higher level until you receive an instructor evaluation card indicating they have accomplished the required skills. For example, register for Penguin for the first and second sessions. If the swimmer has passed a level and we are unable to transfer them into a higher level, the instructor can provide the swimmer more challenging skills. If they have not passed and are mistakenly registered for a higher level, it is likely there won’t be an opening to transfer to and the only option may be to cancel from that session.

Changes in registration will be made only upon your request by calling the Lacey Parks and Recreation office and if space is available.

Don’t be discouraged if a class is full, we often add classes based on the waitlist. If you are registering online you can add yourself to any waitlist or call our office.
