Literacy Goals:

• Teachers should practice effective instructional planning, assessment, and teaching practices to support each student in his/her abilities to read, think, talk, and write about complex texts in community and with independence.

• Each student should be able to authentically engage in reading, thinking, talking, and writing about complex text in community and with independence.

Alignment to District Improvement Goals:

• To provide rigorous, relevant and effective curriculum and assessments. • To develop and teach staff specific instructional strategies to ensure a high quality education for our students.

Student Engagement Goal:

• Each student will be afforded an opportunity to engage academically and socially throughout the day.

Alignment to District Improvement Goals:

• To develop and teach staff specific instructional strategies to ensure a high-quality education for our students. • To increase the on-time graduation rate by 3% per year. Grad rate will fall between 90-95% each year

Strategy 1.1 Building school-wide community and culture

• Common and deepened understanding of Function of Behavior. • Staff knowledge of interventions to respond to function and use of restorative consequences. • Continued development of teacher lesson planning that prescribes engagement and supports student inclusivity.

Alignment to District Improvement Goals:
