Spring 2018Lampeter-Strasburg School District
SUMMER HOURS
Superintendent's MessageDear Resident,
Lampeter-Strasburg School District students once again had very successful fall and winter seasons. Students continue to excel in
the classroom, as well as with extracurricular activities and sports. Many of these positive happenings are highlighted in this edition of the Pioneer Review.
Our School Resource Officer (SRO), Officer Covey, officially started in his role as SRO with the District in January. Officer Covey has been well received by both students and staff alike. School safety continues to be our number one priority, and we encourage everyone to be a part of ensuring a safe school environment.
The District is currently in the process of completing a feasibility study in collaboration with Crabtree, Rohrbaugh and Associates to create a long-range plan for our buildings to ensure that they are able to serve our students’ instructional needs for 21st Century learning and beyond. We look forward to the continued partnership with our families and community to serve the needs of all learners. I encourage all community members to come and see our students in action on the field or on the stage this spring. You may visit our District website at www.L-Spioneers.org to learn about all of our activities and events. Thank you for your continued support of our mission.
Sincerely,
Kevin S. Peart, Ed.D.Superintendent
