tosay,youvebeenabusyguy.Butwithyesterdaysnewsthatyouaresteppingdownaschairmanof
theLivestrongFoundationandnolongerwillendorseNike,youfinallyhavesometimeonyourhands
fornewchallenges.Astheysay,whenonedoorcloses,anotheroneopens.
Withthisinmind,theCityofAllensParksandRecreationDepartmentcordiallyinvitesyoutocompete
intheCitysannualRudolphRunonDecember1.
Weunderstandthatyouhavebeenbannedfromboth
theNewYorkCityandChicagomarathons,butwewouldwelcomeyourparticipationineitherour5K
runor1milefunrun,withorwithoutreindeerantlers.Nowinits18thyearofexistence,thisfamily
affairsupportstheAllenIndependentSchoolDistrictcertainlyacauseworthyofembracing.
TheCityofAllenisfirmlyandadamantlyanti-doping,butitshouldbenotedthattherewillbenotesting
atRudolphRun.Afterall,wearekeenlyawarethathavingonesnosewiredforelectricityasRudolphis
allegedtohavedoneisakintounnaturalperformanceenhancement.Whoarewetojudgetherigorsofdrivingasleigharoundtheworldinonenightand/orridingabike2,000milesovergruelingterrain
duringa23daytimespan?
