Landscape architecture is a growing and diverse profession that creates innovative spaces for people to work, play and live as well as habitat for those with whom we share the planet. Landscape architects design many places including residential and commercial properties, community facilities, urban and rural infrastructure, recreation land and park systems, as well as regional landscapes and land planning. The profession is broad in scope and synthesizes a range of disciplines that includes environmental studies, biology, horticulture, geology, hydrology, art, architecture, and urban planning. It is one of the fastest growing professions and is perfect for those who wish to serve as designers and stewards of the land.
