Home News Arenas and Conference Centres Excellence at Lane End Conference Centre continues to create loyalty amongst clients
Category: Arenas and Conference Centres Created on Tuesday, 17 November 2015 11:00
Excellence at Lane End Conference Centre continues to create loyalty amongst clients with one booker now surpassing 100 events at the
Buckinghamshire-based venue.
Skills in Healthcare, providers of flexible and cost-effective solutions to realise brand potential in Pharmacy, is holding a second annual engagement seminar at
Lane End on the 16-17th December. Alan Francis, National Sales Manager at Alliance Healthcare, booked the event and has now surpassed 100 events at
Lane End throughout his career.
“I have been using Lane End Conference Centre since 1995,” says Alan. “I have probably run more than 100 events which have included management development, sales
training courses, or conferences and seminars each one over one, two or three days in duration. It has become the default location for me whenever I need a quality venue
with superb facilities and attentive staff with a can do attitude. The general location is very convenient and the setting and the grounds around the centre make it perfect for
switching off from day to day business. It also helps that the food is superb with tea and coffee stations available throughout the day. It’s that type of small but important
attention to detail which makes Lane End special.”
Loyalty has become a regular occurrence at Lane End with all of its top five clients using the venue for more than three consecutive years whilst four out of five of those
clients returning for at least five years.
“As a progressive venue we are always keen to attract new business but we are proud to have strong partnerships with many clients prospering over a number of years,”
comments Heni Fourie, Sales Marketing Manager at Lane End Conference Centre. “Alan’s loyalty to Lane End has been created because of the continued excellence we can
provide in all our venues, services and catering. We’re honoured to be hosting the event once again in December and I look forward to enjoying another 100 events with
Alan!”
Lane End Conference Centre offers a unique modular design with five distinct and completely self-contained conference buildings – each offering bedrooms, meeting
facilities, bar, lounge and dining room – available for exclusive use.

Home News Arenas and Conference Centres Lane End Conference Centre joins the elite International Association of Conference Centres
Category: Arenas and Conference Centres Created on Tuesday, 01 December 2015 11:15
Lane End Conference Centre has confirmed its acceptance into the prestigious International Association of Conference Centres (IACC).
IACC is the sole global professional association that represents small-to-medium-sized venues focused on meetings, training and conferences. Lane End now
joins more than 360 venues in 21 different countries that aspire to achieve the very best standards and an exceptional meetings experience.
“I am delighted that Lane End Conference Centre has demonstrated its commitment to delivering the IACC Meetings Experience,” comments Mark Cooper, IACC’s CEO. “By
them conforming to our global quality standards, we have established that they will provide meeting planners and event organisers with the confidence and trust required, and
that they have chosen a quality venue and committed team to look after their meetings, conference or event.”
Lane End is currently in the middle of a busy development period with its Pavilion building currently experiencing redevelopment along with the bedrooms in the Wycombe
Court building. The full refurbishments, including a new reception, are due to complete in the summer of 2016.
“It is a real honour for Lane End to now be recognised and included in IACC’s membership,” comments Heni Fourie, Director of Sales & Marketing at Lane End Conference
Centre. “We aim to achieve excellence on a day-to-day basis be it a basic meeting or a much larger conference. IACC has recognised that we comply with their quality
standards and to be part of this global association is further good news following our record end of year figures. Our compliance with this standard, as well as the exciting
developments with our venue, puts us in a strong position as 2016 approaches.”
Key benefits of an IACC membership include marketing & business growth opportunities; learning & networking at annual and regional conferences and meetings;
benchmarking vis-à-vis colleagues and industry standards; the immensely popular, global Copper Skillet Culinary Competition celebrating the artistry of IACC-member chefs
from around the world; and the IACC Code of Sustainability, supporting green meeting environments, initiatives and best practices internationally.
Lane End Conference Centre offers a unique modular design with five distinct and completely self-contained conference buildings – each offering bedrooms, meeting
facilities, bar, lounge and dining room – available for exclusive use.
