Antoinette began !ioin and piano essons at the age of eight and payed the pan"#ute e!ery now and then.$n 19%& she began !ioin studies at the 'weeinc onser!atorium with *ean Louis 'tuurop and !ioa with +sther !an 'traen. he nowedge and interest of her !ioin teacher inspired her to begin studying baro-ue !ioin with Lucy !an ae. 'he aso foowed courses with *aap 'chr/der, among others. Antoinette has aways been acti!e in !aried musica areas and her e0perience incudes paying !ioin and !ioa in the Argentinian tango group aiongo and performing with the we"nown Argentinian bandoneon payer Rodofo 2ederos. 3or many years Antoinette ed a saon orchestra and performed with the we"nown music"theatre group 3airc in the production 45ouden +euw, in which she performed on !ioin, !ioa and !ioa d7 amore. +-uay at home paying contemporary music, Antoinette was a member of the Heios ensembe, with which she recorded the wor of utch composers such as ristan 8euris, *aap 5eraedts and Ludwig tten. he atter dedicated to Antoinette two of his !ioa wors which were pubished by onemus.urrenty her repertoire stretches from the eary se!enteenth century to :1st century, and she has a specia interest in performance on unusua instruments such as the !ioa d7amore, the tenor !ioin and the !ioa pomposa and has e0tensi!ey e0pored their repertoire. $n recent years she has focussed primariy on chamber music.  ogether with pianist ;aughan 'chepp she recorded the compete sonatas for piano and !ioin by *oseph 2artin 8raus (1&<6"1&9:) and 2argarethe an=i for haenge Records. >ith isand she recorded the bassoon -uartets by 3ran= an=i and 3ran= 8rommer. As an ad!ocate for utch repertory, she recorded a featuring chamber music of ea !an ?uyen ($sabee de harri@re) for 'Lot ?uyen and, for the series 42useum gifts, a featuring utch music of the eary baro-ue. reguary to gi!e concerts and, most of a, to teach in order to support the

de!eopment of a historica performance mo!ement.
