FFor the new residents of Langley, congratu-lations on now
residing in one of the mostfamily and business friendly communities
inthe Lower Mainland. As the Officer in Charge
e Langley RCMP, I cannot stress enough that weome any and all
communication with you. Weestablished a number of initiatives that
put notfront line patrol officers near you, but also many
cated Community Liaison Officers. We have fivemunity Policing
Offices (CPOs) at your disposal that work in conjunctionthe main
detachment. The crime reduction efforts of your detachment
havequite effective over the last few years and we ask you to be a
part of thating effort with the following considerations;port crime
when it happens. We cannot look into trends if we do not knowt
them. Our crack team of analysts take your information so we can
targetppropriate persons and neighbourhoods.ep your eyes open. If
it seems odd or suspicious, it probably is. We have success due to
the suspicious occurrence call than you may suspect. Weall the eyes
and ears of Langley contributing to keep us trending in
thedirection.

the CPOs,media, our annual presentation to your neighbourhood or
one of my pres-ions to your City council. Our goal is to share the
