Principals Report
Week 3 already! We still have a lot of exciting events planned for this
term; there will be a number of notes sent home, emails to ensure that
parents are aware of arrangements and requirements for our excursions
and incursions. Please try to read all of the information sent home to en-
sure that we are all organised and the students are prepared for their spe-
cial days/experiences.
WALK TO SCHOOL BREAKFAST
What a great morning it was today Thanks to everyone who drove into
school early with bikes and scooters and spending time enjoying breakfast
together. Thanks to Edwina , Lisa and Mt Alexander Shire Council for
providing the breakfast and the lovely decorating materials that had
scooters, bikes helmets and shoes looking festive. Thanks to Lou for or-
ganising this fantastic morning. It was great to have the bikes at school at
recess and lunch time. Everyone worked really hard in the classrooms so
they had some extra time at the end of the day. We will notify families of
other days in the term when students can bring their bikes.
Athletics Coaching with Lia
Tomorrow will be the first day of athletics coaching for this term. I am
looking forward to reporting on it next week.
Camps
I am looking forward to hearing about Tyren and Bec’s horse-riding experi-
ences of Boomerang Camp next week. In the meantime the Grade 5 and
6’s are making preparations for Urban Camp and a city experience next
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thanks to Bec and Joan We really ap-

We will continue with our 5-Cent Coin Fundraiser
A great fundraising activity that School Council are continuing in
Term 4, is the 5 cent Coin Drive. Lou will collect the coins and pro-
vide us with the total. Whilst 5-cent coins are the
target denomination, all coins are gratefully accepted.
Funds raised from this activity will support
the purchase of readers.
Penny—Showing independent learner
skills
Blake—for recognising that we are all
different with different needs for learning
Walk to School
Today we had breakfast and rode my bike. Then decorated my
bike with streamers and stickers. No-one rode or walked to
school and the parents came to the school!

Congratulations to Elli who has three books which are due for
release at the start of December. Ellie brought in publisher
proofs which she receives for a last check before going into pro-
duction. We all had our favourite book covers . We are really
fortunate to have Ellie working with our students with inter-
esting and exciting ways each week to inspire them to write and
create books and become better writers.
