Primary Objectives
Design and construct about 1,700 linear feet of a 10 foot wide, multi-use
trail through the heart of Lansdale. Provide direct access trail connecting Lansdale’s downtown district and
the Stony Creek Park.
Reduce congestion and reliance on vehicular travel.
Promote additional foot traffic to the downtown businesses.
Provides an important connection to SEPTA's bus stop proposed onRailroad Avenue and the Lansdale Train Station
Promote tourism and visitors from neighboring communities and provide
alternatives to driving into the business district of the Borough.
Promote active, healthy lifestyles to the creation of an alternative source
of transportation for commuters and recreation users alike.
