The Lifeboat Amateur Radio Society has been
established for Amateur Radio operators throughout
the United Kingdom who share an interest in the
Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
Together we will promote the work of the
RNLI and support it through special event
stations and fund-raising events such
as SOS Radio Week.
Membership costs just £10 and
you can join today by filling in
the form over the page or by
visiting our new web site.

In 2010, Amateur
Radio operators
throughout the United
Kingdom and Ireland
raised over £3,600 during
SOS Radio Week by setting up
special event stations anywhere;
at home, in Lifeboat stations, shops,
schools and other places.
This is an event that everyone can take
part in, there’s no need to be a member of
the Lifeboat Amateur Radio Society and you
don’t need to commit huge amounts of time.

No matter whether you’re an individual, or a group, got
just a couple of hours to spare, or a couple of days
everyone can take part and support the RNLI.
