This takes you to the Library Zinio control center:
If you want to see a list of the magazines to which we subscribe, click the "How to Use" tab, at the top: They're grouped by topic, on the right of the page.
You can also watch the slideshow on how to set up, if you wish. (That's on the left.)

Setting up your Zinio access - there are two steps.
First you'll create a LIBRARY ZINIO account. Then you'll create a ZINIO ZINIO account.
The LIBRARY ZINIO account is where you'll check out the FREE magazines.
The ZINIO ZINIO account is where you'll READ the FREE MAGAZINES. (You can also subscribe to other Zinio magazines in your ZINIO ZINIO account, but you'll pay for those yourself.)
Getting the LIBRARY ZINIO ACCOUNT
Click the "Getting Started - Creating Two Accounts" tab, at the top of the page:
Then, in the left column, #1 - click "Go to the LVCCLD Zinio page".
The computer will ask you to log in to your library account.
Note: Zinio is only for LVCCLD residents.
It's not available for North Las Vegas Library or Boulder City Library residents.
Henderson residents can go to the Henderson Library page:
http://mypubliclibrary.com, and click "downloads" on the top bar.

STOP HERE! This page messes people up.
If you DON'T already have a LIBRARY ZINIO account, DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING IN THE EMAIL OR PASSWORD BOXES!
Just leave those boxes BLANK, and click the purple "Create Account" button.
THAT will take you to the "Create Account" page. (It looks similar, but it really is different!)
Fill in this form, and click the GREEN "Create Account" button.
Note: Your password should be at least 6 characters long.
It can be letters or numbers or a combination.

You'll get a "SUCCESSFUL!" message:
Check your email account for a letter from the Library District, welcoming you to Library Zinio.
The email will also ask you to confirm your email address.
Make sure you click on the "VERIFY" link, at the bottom of the email! When you click to VERIFY, you'll get another "SUCCESSFUL" message:
Click "Return to Login", on the right of that message.

Then click the green "Log In" button. DO NOT click the purple "Create Account" button.
When you click "Log In", you'll see another "Successful" message:
This message should disappear in a few seconds, and the computer will take you to your LIBRARY ZINIO page:
You're more than half way done with the setup!
Select a magazine to check out. I usually start with "Consumer Reports." Click on the cover of "Consumer Reports", or whatever magazine you've selected.

Getting the ZINIO ZINIO ACCOUNT
This is where you'll create the ZINIO ZINIO account. (Where you'll READ your magazines.) When
you click on the cover, you'll see another "account form."
Fill in the form on the right. Make SURE you use the SAME EMAIL address that you used for your LIBRARY ZINIO account. That's how Zinio knows what magazines you've checked out from the library.
NOTE: If you don't get the Zinio Registration page, go to page 10 for help.
Then click the REGISTER button, at the bottom of that page.

Solution:
This can happen when more than one person uses the same computer to read library Zinio Magazines. Here's how to fix this.
From the "bad" page, please go directly to the regular Zinio page: Type http://www.zinio.com in the address bar at the top of the page:
Then click "Register" in the upper right.
Complete the registration form.
Be SURE to use the SAME email address you used for the Library Zinio account. (That's how Zinio knows what you've checked out from the library.)
When you click "Join Zinio", you'll see your Zinio Zinio account - just like on page 8.
