ELDORADO CANYON

Eldorado Canyon is located about 45 minutes from Las Vegas, and is home to the Techatti-cup Gold Mine, once Nevada’s largest pro-ducing Gold Mine.

The scenery is incredible, with forests of Cholla and Barrel Cactus, and has the feel of the “Old West”.

We have an Old West Town with covered pavillon just perfect for outdoor events.

Our Overton location is about 1 hour from Las Vegas, and is just outside the Valley of Fire State Park, which was Nevada’s fi rst of-fi cial State Park.

This location boasts lots of sandstone cliffs, desert atmosphere, and beautiful Rock for-mations.

We have a covered Pavillon with plenty of room for large groups.

Eldorado Canyon ATV TourExperience the best ATV Tour Las Vegas has to offer. Ride your ATV on an Off Raod excursion, up and around trails that were meant for big horn sheep and mule driven ore wagons.

Big open sky, the Colorado river and 3 dimensional views of the mountain ranges leading to the Grand Canyon are an awesome site to take in from the top of our trail head.

ATVs are late model, 4 Wheel drive, fully automatic, and a blast to operate! After a Safety and Op-erations Orientation, both begin-ners and experienced riders will be ready to hit the trail with our Professional Guides.

We’ll be riding on extreme moun-tain terrain, surrounded by forests of cholla cactus, with towering, multicolored rock formations as the backdrop for this incredibly scenic tour.

Also available are multi-passenger ATVS that seat 6 passengers.

Mount up with us and take a ride back through time to the place that, for decades, had a sordid history of notorious claim jump-ing, feuds and shootings during the wild days of its past.

This tour offers a horseback ride featuring views of the Colorado River, explore gold and silver mines dating back to the 19th century.

Miners’, Cowboys and Indians were the primary residents of this lawless land, on this tour you will have the opportunity to visit some of their original homes sites and experience a re-creation of an “Old West Mining Town”.

The ride treks along paths that were originally used for mule driven ore carts that carried pre-cious minerals to the river.

We’ll be riding on mountain terrain, surrounded by forests of cholla cactus, with towering, multicolored rock formations as the backdrop for this incredibly scenic tour.

A Kayak Tour on the Colorado River just below Eldorado Can-yon is a great addition a group event.

These ocean kayaks are easy to paddle, stable, and they glide through the cool, clear waters of the river.

After your arrival in Eldorado Canyon, a short drive takes us to the Colorado River where the Steamboats of yesteryear were loaded with ore and precious minerals from the Eldorado Mines.

The views on the river can’t be described, as you leisurely paddle your way around this historic area.

Keep an eye out for Desert Wildlife: Kit Fox, Big Horn Sheep, and many species of birds call this area home.

Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours is based in Eldorado Canyon at the Historical Techatticup Mine. It’s the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada.

You will visit historical sites where steamboats docked and stamp mills operated over 100 years ago.Man per man and mile per mile Eldorado Canyon has a wider range of historical events than anywhere in the Wild West.This guided above and below ground mining tour will take you into the mine and the history of the old-est and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada.

This tour will consist of a walk-ing tour of the old Techatticup Millsite. This is where the ore was brought out of the mine to the stampmill, crushed to a powder and mixed in cyanide tanks where the gold & silver were separated.

We’ll then proceed into the Sav-age Mine some 500 feet where you will view up and down stopes and actually see the veins they chased. The air temperature in the mine is a cool comfortable 70 degrees year round.

We will venture deep into this ru-mored haunted gold mine and visit 3 different shafts, one of which drops down to over 900 feet. Learn how the hardiest of men la-bored feverishly looking for GOLD ! Chiseling their way through the mountainside inch by inch, with the most primitive of tools and working by candlelight.

Have you ever wanted to kick up a little sand?

Explore with us a Desert Adven-ture on an ATV Tour that will leave lasting memories. We offer the ultimate self driving Off Road Tour that will allow you to experience the Southwestern Desert from a unique perspective on a private trail system.

You will ride your ATV through a series of trails from Sand Dunes, Sand Stones, Washes and Gullies. Drive your ATV to the top of the mesas and see views of Lake Mead, entrance to the Grand Canyon, and the North Side of the Valley of Fire.

A stop at the Valley of Fire State Park is a great addition to this tour, it is Nevada’s Oldest State Park and is full of history.

The red rock formations and sand-stone cliffs make wonderful back-drops for photos.

As with any Event Conpany, there are limitations to the amount of equipment/activities available. In order to accommodate various group sizes, we use planned rounds to make sure that each person gets to participate in all scheduled activities.

For larger groups, we add on other Activities in order to keep the rounds of guests per activity equal, and to make sure that all guests have something fun and unique to do during the event. We have included some Sample Timing Breakdowns on the following page, to better illustrate the concept.

We do not charge extra for these additional activities, as they are used in order for us to be able to provide the service for larger groups, and still give the guests a great time.

Some of the Additional Activites Include:Games-Hiking-Sightseeing Colorado River Tours-Ranger Tours (5 Passenger, Guide Driven Off Road Vehicles). Be assured that if you have specifi c activities you would like included, we will always take that into consider-ation.
