Productivity• Automatic Flow Control feature and larger combined filter

• High air flow rates on ES500 models allow dual-extraction for some applications – depending on operating conditions one extractor may be used for two laser coding applications.
• ES200i/ES500i models generate filtered clean air to cool down SmartLase coders as well as eliminate fumes and particles.
• FS300 model generates filtered clean air to cool SmartLase coders (no fume extraction provided).
Simplicity • Filter change is done by opening the door at the front of the unit
and replacing the used filters with clean ones (ES500 range).• Simple controls or alarms, either visual or direct to the laser
indicate the need for filter replacement.• The 7031 controller can be mounted on the ES500.• Small footprint size enables easy integration into production lines.
Substrate compatibility • Designed to effectively filter the contaminating particles
generated during laser coding on all substrates such as inked paper, white paper, PET, glass or plastics.
• Dedicated extractor model for coding on PVC (ES500 PVC).

Controls and alarms
• Simple and proven continuous filter monitoring system uses
colored LEDs (no monochrome display with complex icons).
• VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and HCl (hydrogen chloride) sensors are provided on the PVC model.
Automatic Flow Control
This feature allows the user to set the correct extraction flow rate for the application, and provides a consistent
air flow over the life of the filters. At installation the unit is set to the required air flow to capture the fume. When
filters begin to block, the air flow rate is automatically adjusted to compensate, ensuring proper fume capture for
a safe operating environment and high-quality codes.
Air cooling
• Available for some SmartLase coders for specific applications.
• Laser air cooling capability avoids usage of expensive compressed air with FS300, ES200i or ES500i models.
Filter
• Reverse flow filter technology and large pre-filter capacity enhance
filter performance and ensure longer filter life.
• Two stage pre-filtration design is provided on all ES500 extractors.
Main features
• A robust vacuum pump at the heart of the unit offers an estimated life time of 30,000 hours.
• Even in a demanding environment, the IP56 stainless steel cabinet ensures reliability.
• Air blowing system into sealed silencer box limits noise level.
• Nozzle, semi-rigid tube and tube fittings are included and are easily installed.
* Gas filter offers protection against a large range of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) generated when lasering polymers (plastics).
