Late Night in the Zone
Meredith Matherly, Isaac Kerns, Sheryl Roff, Christopher Lutdke, Michael McCabe, Kelly Muldoon
Mission Statement: To develop programs for Late Night In The Zone that will provide students alternative ways to spend their Friday nights in a drug free atmosphere.
Goals: To provide students and guests a free, fun, alternative way to spend their Friday nights on campus. Participants will be given the opportunity to meet and interact with other students during these activities and form relationship with people who have similar interests.
Values
• Service to Others: We seek to serve those who attend Late Night in The Zone (and the early in the zone activities) and provide more options for them.
• Respect to our group members: We respect each group member equally and listen carefully to each idea given, ignoring no one.
• Equal Opportunity: We want anyone/every interested in participating in our activities to feel welcome and will do anything to create and equal opportunity environment.
Vision
We will provide an array of activities for In the Zone
participants and increase the amount of participation over the next year to enhance the lives of
students on and off campus.

Eco-Friendly Night• We will feature activities that are enlightening and informative about how
to be good to the environment. Activities will include:• Flower Potting, Face Painting, Recycling trivia, Recycling crafts.• There will be an appearance by the Animal Ambassador and all their
friends.• There will also be African Tribal Dancing!• Food will include :• Fresh Fruits• Veggies• Fresh sandwiches• Desserts• Drinks
World Series Night
• Wiffle Ball Contest in Ball Room• MLB video game Contest• Customize your own baseballs, baseball hats, and
bats. • Wear your favorite team’s colors, the person with
the most team spirit wins a prize!• Stadium Food: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Popcorn,
Cotton Candy, Lemonade, Cracker Jacks, Sno-Cones
March Madness Night
• X-Box NCAA Tournament • Stuff your own basketballs • Watching the games that are on• Fill out your own bracket (if applicable)• Regular Activities also available• Arena Themed Food• Free Giveaways
Movie Night
• Main event: movie playing in ballroom that's still in theaters
• Door prizes: Free DVDs, Movie Posters, movie tickets to a nearby theater
• Crafts: Personalize your own popcorn bowl and movie memorabilia!
• Come dressed like your favorite movie star! Guests will vote on the best costume and participants have the chance to win amazing prizes
Ho Down Night
• Door Prizes• Quick Draw Contest• Prizes will be awarded to the guest that lasso’s
Livingstown the Ram the quickest• Mechanical Bull Riding-Prizes will be awarded
for whoever can stay on the longest!• Square Dancing• Wear your Bandanas and Cowboy Hats, we will
also be giving them away there!!
Budgeting• A safe estimate is about $3,500 to $4,000 for
each late night.• Anchor event averages $1500-$2250 Food
averages about $500-$700 • Crafts usually run from $200 to $500 each. • Prizes vary for Bingo and other activities.
Bingo is usually at least $100 in prizes each night.
For the entire semester this would add up to be about $26,250
Evaluation
We will evaluate our programs by monitoring how many people come each week compared to how many showed up the previous week or weeks. We will have the participants fill out an information sheet with what they thought was good and what they thought could have been improved.
