2002 Concept Design for Catalyst for Tucson’s Community. Co-taught

interdisciplinary studio which created designs for eastern section of City of

Tucson’s Rio Nuevo redevelopment project.

2002 Redevelopment Plan for Barrio Exposición, Panama City, Panama. Co-

taught interdisciplinary studio which created a redevelopment plan for a 16-block

waterfront area in Panama City, adjacent to historic district. Plan was prepared

for the governor of the state of Panama.

2002 Public Participation Phase for Green Valley Community Plan, Pima County,

Arizona. Prepared population, health care needs, land use, and circulation system

review for public input into revisions of community’s comprehensive plan in

compliance with the Arizona Growing Smarter initiative. Organized and ran

public participation sessions for Green Valley Community Coordinating Council.

2001 Instituto Municipal de Planeación de Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Team

taught an interdisciplinary studio which prepared a master plan for a seven-mile

linear park in a growth area of Tijuana close to maquiladoras, part of international

watershed of the Tijuana River system.
