In a speech of Public meeting Mr. X, a member of parliament makes defamatory statement about Mr. Y, who is also a Member of Parliament. Can Mr. Y sue Mr. X? Advice.17. Mr. A received treatment to his eye in a Government Hospital. Due to the negligence to Hospital authorities he suffered loss of eye sight. Whether Mr. A can obtain remedy under the consumer protection Act?
