Being a part of the Chamber of Commerce allows opportunity to promote and receive local value, both personal and professional. I believe in Logan County and know it is a great place to live. I have been fortunate enough to live my entire life in this county and had the opportunity to participate in youth programs, receive my education from a local high school, marry and raise my family here. The Board of Directors and I are committed to “continuous improvement” opportunities for our community and citizens. It is a pleasure to serve on the Chamber Board with members that care and are willing to seek innovative ways to promote and maintain local economic growth and development. This is achieved through a wide variety of business interests and numerous community events.Our Chamber exists to serve its members and our visitors to the community with information and resources. Economic DevelopmentNew Honda Heritage Center Location – 24025 Honda Parkway, Marysville, Ohio 43040

Museum – The Honda museum pays tribute to Honda’s unique tradition and highlights products and significant milestones in the history of Honda in North America during the past 55 years, including a natural focus on the role of Honda’s operations in Ohio. The center, which will open to the public in January 2015, will provide a place to host community and student groups, as well as visitors.

Technical Development Center – The Technical Development Center focuses on advancing the skills of Honda engineers, equipment service technicians, and line-side associates involved in auto production at Honda plants in Ohio and throughout North America. This will help prepare Honda and its associates for the 21st century of manufacturing where success will be defined by the successful interaction between associates and advanced technology. The technical center features five dedicated classrooms and includes robotic manufacturing cells designed to give technicians more hands-on experience. The curriculum provides instruction in basic fundamentals such as fluid power, maintenance math and frequency drives as well as advanced training for specialized areas, such as die molds and machining.
