Lead Partner of Creativeand Production Technology

We are honored to be the Lead Partner of Creative and Production Technology for the Bentonville Film Festival and are excited for another fantastic festival in 2016. Because of our expertise, creativity and strategic partner relationships, we are the team you can rely on to bring valuable resources and solutions to each and every project.

Vista Productions, Inc. was founded over 30 years ago with a passion for providing the highest quality in equipment and, more importantly, service for our valued clients. That same passion carries us forward and is renewed each time we serve.

Perhaps the most exciting thing for me is that our staff has decades of experience producing live events and creating compelling content all over the country and beyond in every situation imaginable. So when you work with us you have the opportunity to take advantage of that wealth of knowledge and experience.

Thank you for taking the time to review our capabilities, our team, and our resources.

Sincerely,

Seth Macchi Director of Client Relations Vista Productions, Inc

It takes a team approach to create compelling content

OUR PROCESSOverview Inspiration for creative events and content can come from anywhere. But mostly it comes from listening to you as you share your message and vision for each project.

Our astute producers, production managers, designers, creators and technicians know how to listen. They know how to identify the challenges and concerns clients face. They make suggestions throughout the process with the purpose of helping you exceed your goals while offering financial and creative options that set you up for success.

Design Our Creative Team will work with you on event concept, story development, theme graphics, PowerPoint templates, set design, story boarding, scripts, branding, messaging and the overall direction and vision of each project.

Planning

Once a design concept has been developed, the planning for event layout, set design and content creation begins. Each individual on your team and ours has a unique perspective that, when combined, will bring the best results.

On Site Production We actively produce your project because we know you only get one chance to get it right. Our team of experts knows the challenges of managing live events and content creation. Your on site Producer will keep a bird’s eye view on budget, design, staffing and equipment. They oversee expert technical staff in the setup and operation of each event and will be an extension of your team.

Follow ThroughMost projects have some form of deliverable or follow up required. Live events often have show records and other collateral to be delivered to you. Video projects require post production to merge all footage captured with narration, music, pictures, animation and graphics to create and deliver your final product on time and to your specifications.

A creative idea is only a solution if it meets your needs and goals; if it truly delivers your vision. – David Sheller, Director of Creative Services/Executive Producer

CASE STUDY

EVENT: State Of The Art (SOTA) SummitVENUE: Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art,

Bentonville, AR

We chose to present this particular event because it’s a great example of how the Vista team worked in tandem with our client to create an event experience that captured every guest’s attention and made them feel part of the meeting.

What might be of particular interest to you is the link (bottom right) to the Video we produced to document this event.

We were tasked with designing the stage and room layout, a backdrop for the stage, and capturing, editing, and creating video for posterity and redistribution.

We started with creating a room layout that helped people in the back of the room feel just as connected as the people in the front row. To achieve the more intimate feel that our client was looking for, we created a tiered riser system to give the perception that attendees were closer to the action. To encourage dialogue and conversation, we chose a seating layout of “pods” that had five swivel chairs and a small coffee table in the center. This made it comfortable and easy to follow the presenter, discuss topics, and turn to hear audience questions.

Designing a backdrop for an art museum is no small task. We wanted to design a piece that helped create a cohesive event theme, allowed for sponsor branding, and wouldn’t inhibit the view of the beautiful design and architecture of Crystal Bridges.

To achieve these three key design factors we utilized a flown acrylic backdrop. We played off of the theme design to create a backdrop that was an impactful statement piece that didn’t distract or overpower.

We proposed capturing the general sessions as more of a documentary, a chance to help tell the presenters’ stories. To accomplish this we chose Canon C300 cameras with Canon prime and telephoto lenses. We also used a steadi-cam to bring some motion shots. We were able to create a unique IMAG show as well as a separate program cut specifically for posting on Crystal Bridges’ various video outlets.

Several rooms throughout the museum were utilized for this event and required a program feed of the general session. We used the museums local network to broadcast a program feed where needed. Guests and staff could enjoy the general session in HD audio and video.

The overall event included two dinners (at two different locations) and the meeting. We provided three separate teams managed by a lead production manager so that each area had our undivided attention. The client was thrilled with every aspect we touched.

We believe that it is important to become an extension of the client’s team. In this case it was imperative. The museum hired an outside firm to handle invitations, credentialing and program content, while their team focused on all other logistics. There were a lot of hands involved. Being able to manage our time with each group, complete deadlines, and fulfill all of our promises was always at the forefront of our minds.

I cannot get over how every detail of this production was carefully considered and executed – from planning to load-in to set up to execution to clean up and load out. We are all just glowing here today in response to our guests’ reactions to the Summit.
