Dementia LiveTM Experience - “Because it’s frightening to care for someone you don’t understand.” Dementia Live offers a unique and unforgettable inside-out understanding of dementia and aging. People who experience this program will have a better understanding of the challenges those with dementia live with on a daily basis. Participants are outfitted with specialized gear and given a series of specific tasks to perform within an Experience Room. Afterwards, they briefly meet with a Dementia Live Coach to discuss the Experience. Participants will be empowered with tips and tools to improve communications and care processes, and gain a heightened sense of empathy for an aging adult.
