Learn Progressive Models of JazzThis Summer at UCLAGlobal Jazz: Ongoing Conversations is a weeklong summer intensive program designed for high school students age 14-18. Using Los Angeles as an extended classroom, the program brings performers together from across the globe to create the nation’s first global jazz studies summer program.

Learn from composers and arrangers who are fellows with the prestigious Herbie Hancock Institute and UCLA Global Jazz Studies faculty.

Participate in master classes and ensembles designed around their needs that include a composition component.

Compose for individuals, small groups, and large ensemble.
