Erasmus programme

ErasmusistheEuropeanCommission’sflagshipeducationalexchangeprogrammeforHigherEducationstudents.ItwasintroducedwiththeaimofincreasingstudentmobilitywithinEurope.

ItisanexchangeprogrammethatLSBUhasbeeninvolvedwithformanyyears,wherebystudentsfromLSBUaresenttoourpartnerinstitutions,andinreturnwereceiveinternationalstudentstostudyhereinLondon.

Studentswhotakepartintheprogrammedonotpayadditionalfees;nordotheygainanaward(e.g.Bachelor)fromthereceivinginstitution.

Designprojectworkisthefocusofourstudioculture.Youwilldevelopawiderangeofskillswhichteachyouhowtodrawbothbyhand,andusedigitalmedia.Historyandtheoryunitswilldevelopyourunderstandingofthesubjectofarchitecturewhilsttechnologyunitswillteachyouaboutstructures,materialsandhowarchitectureismade.Youwillalsoaddresstheissueofhowtodesignarchitectureinamoresustainableandethicalway.

Learning Resource Centre (LRC)

TheLearningResourcesCentre(LRC)providesfreecomputeraccessforallstudentsandstaff,aswellasprinting,scanningandphotocopyingfacilities.SpecialisedfacilitiesforEngineeringandLanguagestudentsarealsoavailable.

TheHelpdeskonthefirstfloorprovidesassistanceforstudentsofallabilitiesandinformationonourfacilities.
