Learning Chinese at China Cultural Centre in Malta
APPLICATIONS for the Chinese Language Course 2017-2018 are now open! In
the upcoming scholastic year, courses at five different levels for foreign friends and
one literacy course for Chinese children will be offered to cater for those who are
interested in Chinese language. A total of 30 sessions will start from October 2017
to June 2018.
Scholarship is available! Every scholastic year, three excellent students will have
the opportunity to attend our fantastic and complimentary China Cultural Centre
Award Tour in China, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s
Republic of China. We are strongly expecting your attendance.
Lecturers are all professional in Chinese language and Chinese culture; two of them
are from China with International Teaching certificates, and another one is a
Maltese teacher who has five years of Chinese teaching experience.
Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), an international standardized test of Chinese
language proficiency is provided by China Cultural Centre for our learners. This
test would be your gateway to have a scholarship in China; One must also apply for
summer camp to experience Chinese culture and learn Chinese language in China
for 15 days. This HSK certificate also helps in career building. Talents who can
speak Chinese are intensively needed in Malta with the increasing Chinese
enterprises.
In order to consolidate what we learnt in class, Chinese Speech Competition
and Chinese Character Dictation Conference will be held at the end of this
scholastic year. All learners can also roll in the Pen Pal Exchanging Program to
make friends by communicating with letters with Chinese. Different types of
Chinese food will be introduced and be made in our class. You can also join
Chinese Salon with your families to experience Chinese culture at China Cultural
Centre.
The tuition fee per year will be totally 130 Euro, plus an annual membership
subscription of 12 Euro for adults and 7 Euro for students. A tuition refund is
available within the first 2 weeks (before October 24), after which the tuition is not
refundable. Kindly keep your receipt, in case you should request a refund.

Graduation ceremony for all graduated learners in China Cultural Center is on 22 June 2018.
