  • Time FrameImplementationThe implementation of this lesson took two days during writing time. These sessions are for 30 minutes. Students who needed an extended period of time were given that opportunity. The students were allowed to work on their essay during morning work till they completed it.

  • Objectives1.0-The students will be able to write notes while the teacher is reading a passage on Jane Goodall2.0- The students will be able to write about the main idea of the passage

  • Enduring UnderstandingThere are many different people from the past and present that have made important discoveries. When writing, it is important to state the main idea and use many details and facts to make the writing more interesting.
