Working together to achieve and grow. Learning From Home We have had a great start to Term 2 – Learning from Home! Our teachers have connued to provide all students with a rich curriculum via Zoom and Google Classroom. All areas of their learning will connue and I am proud to be a part of a workforce that cares deeply about your childs learning and wellbeing. During Term 2, Mrs Kate Lee will be relieving as our Primary Assistant Principal, whilst Mrs Jodie Klein will be our Instruconal Leader Learning from Home. As a result, Miss Jade Taylor will also be part of our primary teaching staff working with all classes K-6. Last week, we were able to provide internet dongles and devices to all students who were unable to connect. I thank Mrs Jodie Klein for meeng with families to complete user agreements and provide support in seng up their new technology. We welcome Mr Peter Neilson to Peak Hill Central School as Principal and a member of our Western Access Program team. Mrs Nicole Bliss Principal Agriculture Update We have oat crops growing at the Ag Farm. On the 9 March, the Tremains air seeded the two large paddocks with oats, these paddocks now have a 30cm crop over them. The photos show our goats enjoying some green feed. Today saw the first hatch of chickens at YCS for 2020. Black Leghorn chickens and some Lohman/Isa Brown cross Leghorn chickens. Some of these will be available to purchase later in the week. The leghorn chickens will make up the YCS 2021 Schools Purebred Layer team at the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter Show. The schools 4 Dorper ewes are heavy in lamb and have been lost in one of the oat paddocks that the class planted. The oats are nearly waist height, if you look very closely you can see the very tops of the ewes. Stay tuned for future updates. Learning From Home We have had a great start to Term 2 – Learning from

Home! Our teachers have continued to provide all
