Middle Mathematics

Task 1: Number Warm Up Number Scavenger Hunt- Look around your house and try and find items that you have the number 1-10 of. For example, one microwave, 2 pillows, 3 pencils, 4 toy cars etc. Task 2: TEN Watch the pre-recorded video on adding two numbers using a dot dice and a numeral dice. Activity: Roll the numeral dice and then roll the dot dice. Hold the number shown on the numeral dice in your head and count on the number of dots on the dot dice to find the total. Write down the total. Task 3: Ordinal Numbers Complete the Ordinal Numbers Ice Cream worksheet. An adult will need to help you read the instructions. ✅

Mathematics Task 1: Number Warm Up Write the numbers 1 – 20 on paper, cut them up, shuffle them and then put them back in order! You can challenge yourself by writing and ordering higher numbers (e.g. 80-100)! Task 2: TEN Activity Using the pre-corded TEN activity video from Monday, complete this activity for 10 minutes. Afternoon Physical Development / Health Task 1: Germs Introduce the term “germs”. Explain that germs are tiny organisms that sometimes invade our bodies and make us feel sick.
