Lebanon the beautiful

The painful story continues..

Lebanon is a democratic, multicultural, multi-ethnic, multi-religious, tolerant, recently reconstructed, fragile, and historic small country of four million people in the Middle

East.

A beautiful country with wonderful beaches, mountains, valleys, cities, and villages.

A liberal multicultural country

A mosaic country of different ethnic and religious groups living in harmony…

A country that paid billions of dollars and spared no

effort to reconstruct and re-establish itself as the pearl

of the Middle East.

A beacon of hope!!

A majestic country that cherished the returns of

tourists from all over the world

A country of origin for more than 12 millions

people of Lebanese ancestry worldwide

BUT…..

When two Israeli murderers were kidnapped..

Israel announced it wanted to defend it self..

Bush said “ Israel must defend it self “.

Lebanon started experiencing hell on

July 12th, 2006

It started with bombing crowded cities, airports, seaports, fuel storage tanks, villages, grain silos, bridges, main

roads, communication masts, and light houses.

By then, tens of thousands of foreign nationals either working in or visiting Lebanon were trapped

At least: 70,000 nationals from the Arabian Gulf, 25,000 Americans; 25,000 French; 22,000 British; 40,000 Canadian; 25,000 Australians; 4,500 Swedes; 4,500 Germans; 35,000 Filipinos, …..

Many escaped the Israeli shelling…

Some made it alive .

Some did not.

27 Children and counting been berried after buildings were demolished over their little body.

This baby’s mother died holding him.

29 men and women where among the berried bodies

They ran out of body bags.

Death was still waiting at the end of the tunnel.

Still ……

Lebanon …Never dies.

And will always rise up again.

And Again…

Because the flag will always fly high..

And the tree strong and will never die..

Act to stop the violence, the madness, and the aggression in the Middle East

• Call, email, or visit your elected officials and encourage them to act on stopping the hostilities and brokering peace in the Near East.

Until the sunshine day…

• Call or email the media outlets and encourage them to cover more the human suffering and the possibility of brokering peace.

• Call the embassies and consulates of countries involved and demand an end for the hostilities

• Support humanitarian organizations

PLEASE…Stop their fear of death… their tears…

and give them the least….(hope to live).
