    STEP 2

    PRACTICE BEING CURIOUS ABOUT EVERYTHING

People who are growing old stopped being CURIOUS

WHAT?- Curiosity is a great mental stimulation.- It adds interest, speculation and learning in our lives.- It is a choice and can be practiced.- It is also a marvellous art.

HOW?- When looking at something, really look at it?-Ask more question in your mind BE HONEST WITHOUT BEING CRITICAL- If you want to find the truth BE CURIOUS

STEP 3ALWAYS KEEP AN OPEN MIND

Without an Open Mind, Truth is Useless

BEING CLOSED-MINDED CAN:1. Wall people off from reality2. Stifle their lives

    3. Sabotage potentials4. Smother new ideas

Being open-minded can:1. Give ourselves/others more alternatives to choose from

    2. Override those old programs by conscious choice3. Accept something new new ideas, new belief4. Enhance the life you are living

If something new comes up, ask yourself

    1. What would I ordinarily think about this?2. If I were completely open-minded, how would I look at it?3. If I were closed-minded, how would I look at it?4. Since I made the choice now as open-minded in all I can do,

how do I choose to look at this now?

    STEP 4O SOMETHING IFFERENT

One of the reasons that people of any age grow older and their InnerYouth starts to die out is that of too much SAMENESS. Samenessleads to dullness; dullness leads to boredom and boredom leads tounfulfillness.

Doing something different attacks our sense of security, tells us to beafraid or cautious and gives us reason to put off doing the things thatis different:

Doing something different means making an Attitude Adjustment

This is not about doing something different just to be odd or unusual. It is adding dimensions to our lives, adding more color and shape andsubstance to who we are and what makes us up. Every individualrequires a different list.

    Example:

    - changing habit of years

    - changing career path- going back to school- starting a new hobby- getting a new group of friends- reading different kind of books

    - eating something different

There is so much to explore, so much to do, so much of life thathas not been live yet.

    STEP 5

SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE TRULY ALIVE

Spending time with the wrong people1. Can ruin an entire day for us2. Can be draining

    3. Their negative attitudes can rub off on us4. Can dampen our optimism and saps our energy

Spending time with the Right People1. Can add life to our lives

    2. Can enrich us with encouragement and support3. Their words will add to our self confidence and self-esteem4. Can set an example of success

    - a model to follow-

Good comes from being with people whose Inner Youth is aliveand well the moment we be in s endin time with them.

    STEP 6

    SMILE MORE

When we see some one else smile

    - It creates an unconscious positive feeling-It shows us the persons attitude- If the smile is directed at us, it shows us, we are liked or thought well of

    - It is a sign of friendliness or friendship- It is a sign of some level of happinessWhen we smile: WE

    - Feel better- Think more optimistcally

    - Are more open to opportunities and alternatives- Begin to affect our own attitude- Improves our physical and mental well- being- Improves our chances for having a better day

    vacation ,planning for retirement. etc...

Hints to renew your Sense of Play_Balance responsibilities of your everyday adult worldwith the lively enthusiasm of Inner Youth.
