Dear Ledgeview Families, This is our favorite time of year- a time to get outdoors and have fun in the sun and celebrate the closing of
another great year at Ledgeview! We would like to thank our PTO board members and all of the committee chairs who have been so dedicated
to the PTO. A special thank you to the Ledgeview staff- Peggy Berghorn, Mary Kay Kohout, Dave Stang, Rick Stockwell, and Elaine Shafer for all your help. Mr. Kuwik, on behalf of the entire Ledgeview community, we
would like to say a heartfelt thank you for your support, enthusiasm, and school spirit! Of course, the success of this year could not happen without the support of our Ledgeview families, thank you!
The school budget vote took place on May 16 and we would like to thank those that volunteered to be an inspector of the elections and those who voted. Congratulations to the athletes who participated in the All-
Elementary Track Meet and the talented artists whose artwork was displayed in the high school gym. You all did a tremendous job of representing our school.
Our Staff Appreciation week was once again a huge success. Thank you to Melissa Petras and Allison Stoll for coordinating a week long series of events to thank our staff. They were treated to breakfast, lunch, cards from our students as well as treats each day. It was an incredible week filled with fun, enthusiasm, and love to the
faculty and staff who do so much for our children, thank you to everyone who volunteered!
The school supply kit and Summer Bridge book sales have wrapped up! Thank you to everyone that ordered and thank you to Kaili Kozlowski and Jennifer Beale-Zawadzki for heading up those sales. We will keep you posted as to when these items will be available.
Special thanks to Sarah Merlihan and Kim Doell and their committee for organizing another wonderful
Grandparent’s Day and to the groups of volunteers who helped serve lunch and guide folks in the right direction!
Fun Days will be taking place on June 7 (grades k-1,) 8 (grades 2-3,) and 8 (grades 4-5.) For those of you that are new to the event, it is a morning filled with outdoor games that are coordinated by Mr. Grabowski and Mrs. Stevens (thank you!) followed by an outdoor picnic hosted by our parent volunteers. If you can help,
please contact Jan Vesper Diver and Kaili Kozlowski who are coordinating this 3-day event!
On June 20, the 5th Grade Promotion will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Clarence Middle School Auditorium. We would like to congratulate our 5th graders and wish them the best of luck in Middle School!
As this year wraps up we would like to thank everyone who chaired an event, volunteered their time and/or money to make this a great school year! We could never accomplish the things we do without such great
parent support. We would also like to thank Sharon Finlayson for putting our newsletter together each month. She has done a great job organizing all of the information and events at Ledgeview and putting it together for all of us. Thank you for all of your hard work this year!
Enjoy the summer, be safe, and HAVE FUN!
