Apr 2014 to PresentWarehouse Manager, Fishpond World, Gloucester. Responsible for the start-up and successful running of Fishpond World.I First Joined Fishpond after being made redundant from Wincanton in early 2014. Fishpond is a New Zealand and America based company that had been using other 3PL companies to support them in the UK, my role was to start up Fishpond World (UK), I had been tasked to bring Fishpond World in house, this included finding and fitting out a warehouse and then manning the warehouse to enable the operation to begin, within 3 weeks of finding suitable premises, Fishpond World was open for business and the deliveries started to arrive. I am able to boast that over the Christmas period, due to hard work, long hours and employing an effective team the group sales were reported as 1.5 Million per week.I am responsible for the running of the UK warehouse, this includes:

All system related staff training including system updates. HR issues, including investigations and disciplinaries. Payroll, ensuring all staff hours are processed for payment fortnightly. Goods in, we receive between 10 and 15 deliveries per day. Dispatch, we dispatch, daily approx 4500 individual packages through various international

carriers, these items all need scanning and manifesting before leaving site. Daily packaging stock orders, and receipt of all packaging supplies. Daily conference calls to both NZ and LA, these are completed at various times due to the

international time differences.I currently employ 30 members of staff and also have daily contact with various agencies for any staffing needs that are required above the core team.

Mar 2014 to Mar 2014 Bar team leader, Compass group, Cheltenham race course.Responsible for the set up and running of one of the bars during gold cup week. Some of my responsibilities included managing a team of 4 bar men/women and a team of 12 waitresses, ensuring the bar is fully stocked at all times and also responsible for the cashing up at the end of the day. Oct 2011 to Mar 2014Warehouse Manager / Layout Efficiency Manager, Wincanton, Gloucester.I first joined Wincanton as a layout efficiency manager working closely with stocks and admin, I was soon given the added responsibility of supporting the day to day running of the shift and being responsible for 50+ staff, with a stock holding of 2.2million units and a Sku range of 20,000 lines.The departments I have been tasked with overseeing include Goods in, despatch, stock, systems and admin. The customer is very demanding and one with challenging KPI’s, the acceptable accuracy level of 99.5% is constantly achieved.

My responsibilities were: To monitor 37,000 locations and the 2.2 million units of stock contained within these locations. To monitor and control the sites occupancy levels, ensuring space is created when required in

line with goods-in forecasts. Installation of new locations within the warehouse, both physically and the system upload of new

locations. Overseeing shift performance ensuring the work is distributed to meet the store delivery

deadlines, and ensuring that KPI’s are met whilst keeping costs to a minimal. Daily management and customer meetings ensuring a quality service at all times. Team training, ensuring all team members adheres to company SOP’s. The control of site exit pots, ensuring stock leaves securely and on time. Racking maintenance inspections, damage investigations and the organisation of repairs to the

racking. Adhoc project management / Support. The control of outside storage.

August 2012 to PresentWinslow Brown catering, Gloucester RFC, Gloucester.Responsible for a team of 12 staff, ensuring that food is prepared and delivered to the hospitality boxes in line with the customer requirements. Ensuring the mini bars located in the boxes are always kept topped up. Liaise with the customers ensuring that what they believe is an excellent service is being delivered and that there day is as enjoyable as possible.

Mar 2011 to Sept 2011, (Contract Role)Team Manager, Pegasus Removals, Cheltenham. My main duties were to take responsibility for a team of 8 staff, driving the 7.5t lorry to and from customer addresses as part of their move. I had to deal with customers both face to face and over the telephone, take payments and produce final invoices at the end of the move.

Nov 1999 to Feb 2011,Office Manager, Budget Rent a Car, Tewkesbury.I first joined Budget in November 1999 and within my first 5 years of commencing my employment I had been promoted four times. During this time I was able to gain valuable experience in negotiating and winning new business. I have had dealings with a multitude of large companies and have had to chair management meetings with regards to performance and the quality of service.Management reports had to be produced both daily and monthly to both the business and to the customers.

maintained in line with service requirements. Operating a large and varied fleet of cars, trucks and vans, over 300 locations throughout the UK

on a weekly basis. Handling and dealing with customer queries, winning new business and managing large

accounts. Inputting new vehicle information and ensuring defleet vehicles were returned on time and in

accordance with the return criteria. Responsibility for the security of the computer data and the company premises. Processing the finances within my branch and ensuring all monies were banked at the end of the

working day.
