ANNUAL REPORT 2017 Lee’s Place LEE’S PLACE MISSION To provide quality therapy to adults, children and families regardless of their financial circumstances, who are coping with loss, trauma and life changing experiences while offering specialized training and education to the community. Dear Friends of Lee’s Place, As most of you know, the people who walk through Lee’s Place doors asking for help have been through a tragedy, a life changing experience, and are searching for a way to live through it, to find a way to recover purposefulness and meaning again in their lives. Our experienced therapists work with the clients who come to us to rebuild, find hope, restructure, express their deepest fears and sadness in a safe place, and to integrate this life changing experience into their lives, into their belief systems, and into their hearts. Every time we help one person begin the healing process from a tragedy, we are actually helping a group of people and ultimately a community. For every person directly affected by a life changing event, there are on average 7 – 20 people connected to that person who are also affected; parents of the victim, grandparents, children, siblings, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc. So working with and aiding the victim of a tragedy also has a positive broad effect on all the loved ones surrounding them. Our Outcome Evaluation, which is an anonymous questionnaire we send to every client 3 months post therapy, tells us that 92% of our clients find that Lee’s Place was helpful, that their daily functioning has improved, and that they would recommend Lee’s Place to their friends or family. Therefore, the work that we do for the 250 -300 people who walk through our doors every year seeking help, actually extends far beyond that, to whole families, workplaces, and the community. Helping one, can improve the lives of many. I am honored, and our staff at Lee’s Place is honored, to be providing this work for our community and I am grateful for the support of donors who make it possible. ANNUAL REPORT 2017Lee’s Place

LEE’S PLACE MISSIONTo provide quality therapy to adults, children and families regardless of their financial

circumstances, who are coping with loss, trauma and life

changing experiences while offering specialized training and

education to the community.

Dear Friends of Lee’s Place,

As most of you know, the people who walk through Lee’s Place doors asking for help have been through a tragedy, a life changing experience, and are searching for a way to live through it, to find a way to recover purposefulness and meaning again in their lives.
