Speaker ProfilesIsrael Ajose is a dedicated student and teacher of astrology, a transpersonal therapist and consultant and the Director of Astrology of the (Psyche) Soul, which incorporates

astrological elements of Jungian psychology. After gaining full honours in Psychological Astrology at the Centre of Psychological Astrology in London, he is now a full-time practitioner of esoteric astrology, Jyotish and tarot. Much of his practice also includes cosmology, mythology, occult sciences, Kabbalah, shamanism and divination.

Paul Barker has a PhD in Chemistry and has been studying Vedic Astrology for 12 years in the UK and overseas. He is a prominent member of the British Association for Vedic

Astrology (BAVA) and has spoken at conferences in the UK, India and the USA. He is a student on the Jaimini Scolar and Parasara programmes with Pt. Sanjay Rath. Paul is the President of the Leeds Theosophical Society.

John Hall has been a student and a practitioner of Jyotish for 30 years, and is currently enrolled on the Jaimini Scholar programme with Pt. Sanjay Rath. He has been

an active member of BAVA since 2000. John has previously worked and studied in India for 7 years, and gained a 1st class Honours degree in the Philosophy of Eastern Religions from the University of Pune. John also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Jungian Psychology. He is based in Dublin and works as a Consultant in Vedic Astrology with an international client base.

Gordon Brennan first studied for a degree in modern languages, then, 35 years ago took up Sanskrit and Indian philosophy, which led ten years later to the study of Jyotish. He joined

BAVA a few months after it was set up in December 1996 and has been BAVA’s Education Secretary for 20 years. He is a Jaimini scholar and represents BAVA on the Advisory Panel on Astrological Education and on the All Party Parliamentary Group for Traditional Indian Sciences. Currently he is studying on a course to qualify as a Jyotish Pandit and is also writing a book. Gordon imports and sells Vedic Astrology books on www.amazon.co.uk and www.abebooks.com

Visti Larsen has been educated in several aspects of ancient Vedic knowledge, comprising philosophy, Mantra Shastra, Sanskrit, Upasana and allied fields.

The ancient texts that he learned, and relies on, are that of Gita, Upanishad, Purana and Veda. He is a strict follower of the ancient teachings and a promoter of Sanatan Dharma, encouraging vegetarianism and a spiritual and holistic lifestyle. As well as his deep involvement in running the Jaimini Scholar programme Visti runs RAMA, the Regional Academy for Mantra and Astrology, wherein he holds courses and monthly webinars on various topics of Jyotish.
