WELCOMEOur Open Days are your best opportunity to fi nd out why you’ll love studying at Leeds Trinity, whether you are interested in studying undergraduate, foundation or postgraduate degrees. This handy guide will help you plan your day with us so that you can make sure that you have the time to see everything we have to offer.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching, our excellent employment record and our student experience. As a Catholic University College we are an inclusive community and we seek to help all who live and work here to fl ourish. Whether you wish to start your degree straight from school or college, or perhaps return to education after some time out, Leeds Trinity can offer you the very best higher education experience.

You are welcome to arrive at any time after 10am and the events run until 3pm. We aim to provide you with all the information you’ll need to make the right decision for you, and give you fi rst hand experience of our friendly campus.

Each day will include subject talks and activities, so that you can hear about why we love Leeds Trinity, and also try it out for yourself. We will also be offering a variety of sessions to support your application as well as information stands so that you have the chance to ask any questions you may have.

Andrew Kean Learning CentreDiscover the excellent range of library, IT and web-based resources all under one roof in a comfortable and modern environment, staff will be on-hand in the Learning Centre to answer any questions.

AccommodationOur accommodation will be included in your campus tour, however if you would like another look or just a quick glance you can visit the accommodation during the day. Our Accommodation Offi cer will be here to talk you through any questions you may have.

ChaplaincyFind out more about our chaplaincy, which includes a chapel and a multi-faith prayer space. Whatever your faith or belief, there’s a place where you can pray, worship and fi nd peace and quiet.

General talksFind out all about accommodation, applying to higher education and managing money in the Auditorium throughout the day, more details on page 5.

Sports Centre Go along to our multi-million pound fi tness suite and sports centre, where staff can show you the facilities and tell you all about our discounted gym membership for students.

Student Support We offer a wide range of support services for our students. In the Dining Room information stands on the day will include: fi nance, admissions, accommodation, catering, dyslexia and disability, employer partnerships, careers and the Students’ Union. Staff and students will be on hand to answer your questions and to help you fi nd the information you need.

Subject talks and activities There are talks and activities happening throughout the day in each subject area, look at the page 7 to go to your area of interest. If you are looking to do a combined honours course, don’t forget to visit both subject areas to get all the information.

General talks There will be general talks in the Auditorium on finance and accommodation, as well as admissions, to guide you through the UCAS process:

Campus toursEach subject area will be running campus tours as part of their programme, so please look through this guide for full details. Take a tour with one of our Student Ambassadors to get a feel for our campus and environment, including our accommodation. You will be able to ask questions and it’s the ideal way to find out more about the academic and social facilities. Each tour lasts approximately45 minutes.

Food and drinkWhy not help yourself to free tea, coffee or soft drinks on offer next to the Student Support stands in The Lounge in the Dining Room? You can also buy a range of hot meals, snacks, sandwiches and salads. Still hungry? The Atrium Cafe at the main entrance is open during the day, serving drinks and snacks.

They are all current students so they will be able to talk to you about what it’s like to study here as well as point you in the right direction should you require any assistance.

Leeds Trinity has great transport links – it’s easily accessible by road, there’s a railway station ten minutes’ walk from campus and plenty of buses from Leeds and Bradford stop directly outside the main entrance. Right on the doorstep is Leeds Bradford International Airport – only five minutes away by car.

Parking There is free car parking available on campus. When arriving on campus, please look out for our Student Ambassadors who will guide you to an available space.

By bus Leeds Trinity is served by bus services between Leeds city centre and Horsforth. I love the friendly atmosphere on campus, I felt at home straight away and since then it’s just got better. When I came to look round on an Open Day I was convinced it was the place for me. Life on campus is great, there are loads of people to talk to and always something to do. The facilities are good too, whether you’re studying, socialising or being sporty, and there is plenty of support, you can find someone to go and talk to if you need some help.
