ChristmasIt’s December. The days are short, the nights are long and it’s cold! But it’s my favourite time of year… It’s Christmas time!

Christmas is a magical holiday. There are Christmas songs and decorations in the shops. There are carol singers and Christmas lights in the city centre and there’s an ice-rink in the park for three weeks!

Our house is full of Christmas decorations. We’ve got a big plastic snowman and Christmas lights in the garden. There are lots of Christmas cards in the living room and there are presents under the Christmas tree. The fridge is full of delicious food and all my favourite films are on TV. Oh and school is closed for two weeks!!!

11th December 5.30 p.m. This is a photo of our Christmas tree. It’s in the living room near the window. It’s got lights and decorations, and there are presents on the floor under it! Our house is beautiful at Christmas.

23rd December 11.00 a.m. This is a photo of the school choir. They’re singing carols in the city centre. ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ is my favourite Christmas song.

25th December 9.25 a.m. It’s Christmas Day – my favourite day of the year! All my family are here. We’ve got lots of presents. I’ve got a new laptop! Thank you Father Christmas!

1.35 p.m. Here’s a photo of a Christmas cracker. Inside the cracker there’s a party hat and a small present.

1.55 p.m. This is a photo of the Christmas dinner table. Christmas dinner is a very big meal with roast turkey and lots of vegetables. After the dinner there’s Christmas pudding for dessert. Yum!
